Welcome to The Pugin Singers

2009 sees the choir visiting four new venues, two of which have connections with the architect AWN Pugin.

On 7th March we gave an evening concert in St Chad's Church in Stafford. This is the oldest building in Stafford and it's priest-in-charge, Michael Fisher, is a noted authority on the work of Pugin. See our events page for more details and a link to St Chad's website.

The following weekend saw us on London's South Bank where we give a Sunday lunchtime recital in the Foyer Bar as part of the RFH's 'Voicelab Welcomes ...' series.

The Cheadle Arts Festival in early April included a Pugin Singers concert on Saturday 4th.

One of Cheshire's "grandest black-and-white timber-framed buildings" is Bramall Hall in Stockport. The Pugin Singers will be gave a short concert there on Wednesday 6th May.

We venture into the world of early opera on 27th June with a performance of Henry Purcell's 'Dido and Aeneas'. This will be at Alton Castle, designed by AWN Pugin.

We have been booked to sing at "A Victorian Evening" on the Churnet Valley Railway on Wednesday 16 December.

Please visit the Events Page for further information.
